Mtre Éric Marquette joined the team in September 2018. He focuses his practice exclusively on family law. He represents clients in cases involving separation, divorce, property division, child custody, support remedies, disputes between de facto spouses and intra-family adoption applications.

Mtre Marquette takes a personalized approach to the mandates entrusted to him, seeking the most appropriate solution for his clients. Whether representing you in court or in negotiation, he will suggest ways of achieving your objectives and preserving your rights. An empathetic and attentive listener, Mr. Marquette supports his clients with a listening ear, always mindful of the impact a family matter can have on the whole family.

Mtre Marquette has worked for Legal Aid of Montreal as well as in private practice, where he gained experience in various areas of law, including family law, civil law, real estate law, tax litigation, bankruptcy, commercial litigation and more. Since the beginning of his career, he has pleaded before most Quebec courts, up to and including the Court of Appeal.

Mtre Marquette has been teaching family law to future lawyers at the École du Barreau du Québec since 2017.
