Catherine Brisebois joined Pringle & Associés in April 2013, devoting her entire practice to family law. She represents her clients in cases of separation, divorce, division of property, child custody, support claims and disputes between de facto spouses.

Having previously practiced with the Department of Justice Canada, primarily in the field of immigration litigation, as well as in private practice in New Brunswick, Mtre Brisebois has acquired solid experience before both provincial and federal courts, at both trial and appellate levels.

Keen to limit the consequences of family disputes, Mtre Brisebois also represents her clients in out-of-court settlement conferences, assisted mediations and negotiations between lawyers. At the same time, she provides effective representation before the courts to safeguard her clients' interests. We are regularly called upon to plead before Quebec courts, both at first instance and on appeal.

Her proactive approach and determination have also been recognized by her peers, with her receiving the Best Lawyers award since 2022.

She is also involved in various training activities for the next generation of lawyers, whether as a lecturer at the Université de Montréal or by chairing training sessions for lawyers from across Canada.

Mtre Brisebois is bilingual, expressing herself perfectly in both English and French.
